Anything you save normally — memories, chats, and files — is stored in our cloud on secure servers. That's what lets your Companion actually know you and help you, and it's what makes your account look the same on every device you use.
Because your Companion has to read it to help you, Tenari can access this cloud data too, including if we're ever legally required to. It isn't private from us.
Want something we can't see? Mark it 💾 Local inside the Files app. Local items stay only on the device you saved them on and never reach our servers — they just won't follow you to your other devices, since we never see them to sync them.
A few things always live in the cloud no matter what, because the app can't run without them: your login and account info, and billing if you're on PASS.
